Ravanahatha Player | Jodhpur | Rajasthan

Ravanahatha is the instrument of Rajasthan. In Jodhpur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur, all the popular tourist destinations featured artists playing Ravanahatha.

For the most part it resembles a traditional violin, but the unique addition is a bunch of bells added to the tip of the stick, producing a jingle sound as the stick is played back and forth.
