Entirely lunatic. Was it Horlicks that advertised with a moon face in the top of the drink - or was it Guinness, or Ovaltine, or Jack Straw? Mumbles off to bed ...

Love it. I take it that it sank to quickly for you to catch the Half (Pint) moon.

A lot of originality. But I think that this full (pint) moon dissapeared quickly from the sky... lol :)

Good GOLLY, I never imagined this would be so popular! For me, the picture in my head and the picture I managed to make were so different that I didn't think I'd even post it!

      Thanks Danny, beer-iffic comment!

Florrie, I'm not sure but I think Horlicks. Hope you slept well!

Hey Mo, you can drink pints if you want to! Come to Norwich and I'll show you how ;-)

You certainly may say so, Trucie - glad you're having fun with it!

Thank you Leo - it came to me in a tipsy flash ;-)

Ooooh, thanks Georgy - I don't get many ABF invites, cheers! :-))

Thank you, Andy. I'll be brutally honest.. this was actually about half a pint! But in a pint glass.. it just took me that long to spot the shot. I was busy with the gloss black windowsill..

Thanks, Lluis - excellent comment/observation! You are quite right, it quickly sank out of sight ;-)

Actually I caught a glimpse of a kiddies TV prog this afternoon, and their cartoon moon was so like this I was quite taken aback. I started to remark on this excitely to Mrs. L whose response was approximately "Flickr? Oh that computer thing you're never away from! Humph."

They just don't understand, Danny! ;-)

      Thanks Maggie!

Very dark, Haibar - black in fact!

I hope you didn't drink that shit?
Usful as a prop..............but as a drink,I thought it died out after Maferking was relieved!!!!
      Oh well.

Thanks Brenda, LOL. I remember when there used to be marked similarities between Ovaltine and Mild, too..

Heh, Les, you gotta get with the hep Mild jiva man! This stuff has virtually no connection with the viscous caramel solution that a smirking barman used to slop into a glass for you. It's not strong, (unlike say Chalk Hill Flintknapper's Mild) but it's bursting with roast malts and chocolatey undertones. Oh yes :-)

PS I don't remember Mafeking being relieved - what was it like?
