Keeping Some Distance Is Good - Terra Nova N10321e
Are we seeing the world in a different way?
Archive of 2012. The following is the stories posted before with the picture.
Wish you a great Wednesday!
I don't know if this is one of my better pictures. But I find it carries special meaning for me. It makes me discover the fact that the scene in front of a camera can tell something in your heart.
And it makes me feel more interested and enthusiastic about street photography too.
This is an old picture reposted. I took the picture in 2012 and that is the time I started to be interested in street candid pictures.
I guess I am getting old and now I start to look back. Looking at the back of other people also. That means you are with less energy and lagging behind the others. :o)
My friend just talked to me about similarity between painting and photography the day before. That is true because they are both visual arts. But I rather think of the differences between painting and photography.
One of the differences is called serendipity. Photography is about capture of an unique moment that can reveal meaning to the photographer or viewers. Most of the photographers will never be 100% sure about what they will get at the end of the day. You may have an idea in mind but the scene or subjects may tell you otherwise. Photographers will work on the scene and find the composition that can illustrate his/her thoughts, his/her meaning, his/her point of view on this world.
The following is the original story I posted in 2012.
Someone said keeping some distance is good for relationship either at work, marriage or partners, or even family. Nowadays privacy is a serious issue for everyone. Keeping a little distance helps in the protection of privacy.
I saw the couple at Terra Nova yesterday. They are together. I saw them leaving the scene together after I took my shot. However they chose to sit on different benches and kept a little distance between them.
Have a great Sunday!
