My interpretation of Kaffe Fassett's Optical Squares made for a wall hanging.

Absolutely fantastic! You make me want to quilt something. Maybe something small. :)

Birdieoodle - thanks for telling me about the Kaffeefassett group. Flickr is so cool.

And Mayfly - this is pretty small -- just a wall hanging -- 40x40? It's doable for sure.

Thanks lisascenic -- yes I just knew I needed to try my hand with this one when I saw it in his book. I enjoy looking at it in my living room everyday. It's a great design.

Thanks Mims - I still love it. It is quite easy once you make all the necessary placement decisions :-) I'll look forward to your version.

Beautiful. It's at least as good as the one in Fassett's book if not better!

Hah! Well i see 22 months ago I had plans to use my fassett scraps to do up this version. Happy to say started yesterday, phew only two months shy of two years later! Using a woven strip you gave me too Amy. Thanks for keeping this quilt as your icon, it keeps me inspired.

Yay for you! I'm sure it will be awesome. Let me know if you need more scraps - I've got plenty. Yes, I've been meaning to make another version of this for a couple years now myself... Maybe you will be my inspiration!
