The Huber coal breaker in Ashley, PA. On the left is Wilkes-Barre, and in the distance is Campbell's Ledge and Bald Mountain. The colliery has been silent since 1976.

Thanks to your pictures, I'm able to look back over my home town which I left nearly 40 years ago. I'm a train nut and I'd like you to imagine a Wyoming Valley with 8 railroads! PRR LV CNJ Erie DL&W D&H L&WV WP&E. Hiking Campbell's Ledge, cab rides at Coxton on the LV. And spending summer days at the DL&W station in West Pittston. So much is lost. Thanks again for the great photos.
