Compare the Stars

So, these were taken with the exact same exposure, one after another, exact same place - so why is the big star cloud dimmer in the second picture.

 

Exposure for both was EOS 50D, ISO 200, f/4, 10mm (on sigma 10-20mm lens) manual focused just before infinity, and processed to take the blacks down to 0, and exposure +2ev in Adobe Lightroom.

 

What happened?

 

Star trail image is coming, when I've stacked them!

 

Yes, it was very cold! -6c actually... but my car kept me warm! Lucky i know a place with very little light pollution and i can park right by it.
