They didn't know if I was really getting up for good.
I got up at 6 AM to get my sister off to school and the dogs got to come along. Then it was back to bed for 2 hours because I got 5 hours of sleep. The dogs never know when I'm getting up for real--so they don't bother getting up unless I leave the room for a while. : )
Israel has a history of falling off the bed as well. It's happened in the middle of the night and scared the bejesus out of me. Judah's fallen off once--and it was hilarious.
They really are the perfect pair. Judah's big, patient, and mature. Israel is a bruiser in every sense of the word, a puppy to the core, and bounces around when he gets really excited. Judah will be resting (she's still restricted 'cause of her limp) and Israel will suddenly decide it's time for a break. That's when he walks over and literally falls on top of Judah--and then she growls like an old woman and gets up to get away from him. :)
Judah is my first dog, my heart dog. I love everything about her, the good and the not-so-good.
And Israel...well, I didn't know I needed another dog...but he's proof that I did. I can't imagine him living with anyone else because clearly his place is with me and Judah.
