Keiji Haino poster
This poster for Keiji Haino’s first Texas appearance was supposed to be a quick and easy project. But the artwork proved to be tricky and did not translate well when screenprinted. I had to make adjustments after many trials. I basically flipped the sheets over, all 55 of them, and started again! This poster measures 12.5 inches wide by 19 inches high. The paper is Poptone Black Licorice made by the French Paper Company.
A total of five colors were used including a bright blue ink which turned into an amethyst color when paired with the black paper. While this is probably the simplest poster I have made, it was quite stressful to complete. This poster is part of series of concerts in memorial of a great individual so there was a lot of pressure to make it look good.
