Warner at Manors Foyer

    Newer Older

Warner built this £4.5m cinema complex on the site of a WWII bombed rail goods depot in 1989. It was fun, but did not thrive. In 2004 it closed and was sold to Northumbria University (Newcastle Polytechnic). The site has been cleared and this smart structure is no more.

The clever foyer design meant less queueing and good information. There were also concession stands selling books, snacks, gifts etc.
