great shot. i couldnt see em this week.
did they let you carry in a large lens?

    --edit---
you had an easier time than i did shooting concerts in nyc.
    which lens is this?

Hey luzer, This was shot with a Nikon 70-200/2.8 D

See, I'm soooo jealous of that extra height you've got on me! I couldn't get over the tops of the heads of the chicks in front of me, and I get extreme up-the-nose angles! Next time I'll have to wear platform boots.

This shot was shot from the extreme right hand side of the stage, not from where we were all standing together. With a long lens, you can actually mostly overcome the height problem-- its a matter of angles. When the stage is as tall as Webster's even tall guys like me get up the nose shots from right up front.

Using a long lens, you can compress the space between two objects. M. Ward and Zooey are actually much further away from each other than they appear.

Yeah, I moved over that way at the end, and you know what, I'm 5 foot freakin' 2 inches, and there ain't nuthin' I can do about it.

My version, but I had to crop to get what the lens gave you (and to get rid of all the heads and stuff on the left side of the frame):
