I think it would have been nice to see everything in full detail, but I can see why you chose to accentuate the river.

I'm not sure you understand the purpose of tiltshifting a photo.

I think this is a nice effort. It almost looks like a model railroad scene. I do think though that a little more in focus would have helped. Also, a bluer sky might have helped the illusion.

I really don't think the DoF works here and the colour is rather garish.

I was going to say that I have no idea what "tiltshifting" is - but, I suppose, it is using a lens with movements to put the plane of focus exactly where you want it and to correct perspective (or simulating this). Well, I guess that's why the river is in focus, but I don't think the result here is worth the effort, I'm afraid.

Digging a little deeper, in this case it is apparently the use of software to make the real world look a bit like a tabletop model photographed, presumably, with a camera with movements. I must be missing something here, because I can't see why anyone would bother...

I think this looks great. The tiltshifting effect is fun, but not an exact science and it's very cool to look at, without necessarily having to produce expert photographs. It might even wreck what would ordinarily be a great photograph to an extent, but it looks COOL! I like this one.

Nice effect! I looks like a model set. Thanks for adding it to the "Hilltowns of Western Mass" pool. It's a great addition!
