From an Unquiet Mind - Testing Strips
It's been a rough few weeks, and I'd been plugging away at another project. There was too much structure to that project, however, for the restless state of my mind. I dragged out a box of solids scraps from my Farmer's Wife Sampler, and start piecing at random.
The scraps were already cut into triangles, squares, and strips. I just started throwing them together.
Here, I'm testing the strips I pieced against a Kona grey fabric. I'd decided they needed some space to really shine.
I feel like this is the start to a series, possibly. Blogged here: greycatquilts.com/2014/07/08/from-an-unquiet-mind/
