Hallmark Dolls Collectors Album - From the Land of Make Believe Doll # 91
A collection that belonged to my mother. These are paper dolls that open from the bottom so they can stand. There is a little piece of information about the individual character on the inside. My mother wrote a little note to each as a child, and I followed suit at about 7 or 8. The following is the Hallmark description:
In Little Women, Amy was the youngest girl of all, and she was called a "princess" from the time that she was small. She looked just like a princess, too, but it was understood she didn't always act the way a princess should -- like when she drew a picture of her teacher on her slate, and then got awfully mad because she had to stay in late! But Amy could be just as sweet as anyone could be and she was quite a favorite of her wealthy aunt, you see. So when her aunt went traveling to Europe you might know that Amy was the lucky girl who finally got to go! And then, just as the "princesses" in stories always do, Amy found a husband who was nice and wealthy, too.
