A proud steed of the Misl Shaheedan Tarna Dal Harian Belan poses in front of the beautiful 24-domed Nanaksar Gurdwara at Hakimpur village, Tehsil Banga, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Punjab.

Gurdwara Nanaksar is five km south of Bahiram railway station. Guru Har Rai Sahib, the seventh Guru of the Sikhs, rested here for few days while he was going from Kartarpur to Kiratpur Sahib.

The book "Yatra Asthan, Parampara Te Yaad Chinh" written by Dr. Fauja Singh states that Guru Nanak Dev rested here for three days. Guru Teg Bahadur often visited this place from village Chak Guru.
