The many canals of Suzhou

Suzhou, with its many canals and bridges, is often nicknamed the "Venice of the East" (although many other cities often also claim this title as well).

 

Being very close to Shanghai has allowed it to become of the fastest growing cities in Mainland China. It is also a popular tourist destination with its many UNESCO sites and attractions, such as this one near Tiger Hill.
