Self-portrait While Asleep (Dan Sumption)
OK, so the title is a bit of a lie, but I was very nearly asleep. I had to take a self-portrait for a photography assignment, had no idea what to do, slept on it, and woke up at 6.30am thinking "I'd rather carry on sleeping than do this self-portrait". That's when inspiration struck. I put the camera on the bedside table, snuck a cable-release under the duvet, and meditated myself 95% back to sleep before gently squeezing the button.
This photograph was taken at my parents' house in Teddington, Middlesex.
