Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus)

The Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus) or Scavenger Vulture is a small Old World vulture, found from N. Africa to South west Asia. It is the only member of the genus Neophron.

Egyptian Vultures are scavengers, mainly feeding off carrion, but they also prey on small mammals and eggs.
