Juvenile Corallus caninus (Hundskopfboa)

The later change their juvenile colours to a bright green. It is a harmless and non venomous snake though rather aggressive when disturbed. Taken through glass, too many people to ask for opening it.


It was at a snake exhibition ( 2008. Low light, I had to take 6 single shots with reduced aperture and therefor small depth of field and composed it lateron to this single picture. But the colours are original!
