Stranger #229 - Elle
I discovered Stranger #229 as we walked past Elise Fashion Boutique in the heart of Newton which specialises in vintage clothing. The woman behind the counter was dressed in one of the stores' designs and was beautifully made up to suit the vintage theme. I thought she looked like a breath of fresh air when I saw her, so I promptly walked in and asked for a photo. She immediately said yes and we headed down the road around the corner to find some shade and better BG.
Evan popped out the reflector and we soon discovered that the sun was quite powerful off the silver side which caused some rather unusual lighting effects on Elle. As I didn't want to delay her from her job I elected to just go with it instead of wasting time choosing an alternate reflector surface. Perhaps this was a good or bad decision, but I guess I can’t change that now. However, I kind of like the spotlight effect it provided.
It was very obvious that Elle was an experienced model and knew exactly what to do. In fact, she regularly models the stores designs. Bonus! We chatted briefly about her working in the store and fashion before we parted ways.
Thanks to Elle for being part of the project.
