Wave-carved Limestone, Mosquito Beach

    Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Lake Superior, Michigan. This probably took hundreds, thousands of years to carve these wave patterns in the limestone as if it were a sandy beach. Water on the limestone is actually seeping from between the rocks.
