2011 Sea Ice Minimum Live Shot Campaign

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center produces a series of live shots to discuss 2011’s record low sea ice minimum. NASA’s Program Manager for the Cryosphere, Dr. Tom Wagner, spoke live with stations nationwide about the causes for the record-setting melting season and the impact on climate change.
