Northrop Grumman's 17th Cargo Resupply Mission to the International Space Station
Northrop Grumman’s 17th contracted cargo resupply mission with NASA to the International Space Station will deliver about 8,300 pounds of science and research, crew supplies and vehicle hardware to the orbital laboratory and its crew. Northrop Grumman named the NG CRS-17 Cygnus spacecraft after Piers Sellers in honor of the late NASA astronaut who spent nearly 35 days across three missions helping to construct the space station. Launch is scheduled for 12:40 p.m. EST, Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022.
