my sunday morning routine has been restored. my favorite thrift store had been making poor, greedy decisions and turning away their huge sunday sale crowd. almost ready to walk away, I have given them a few weeks more of invest, to hear today that they will be reversing some of the poor decisions.
what was a change to grab for more money, ended up with no one buying anything beyond the 25 cent sale tagged items.
this makes me happy, well relieved. this morning's haul makes me happy: a small pile of vintage jackets and coats for a resale antique booth I have manned for awhile, a delicious mint green blazer - likely from the 70s - that fits me beautifully, and the above argyle sweater and numerous dress shirts. all five tags for a buck.
v-neck sweaters make me happy; I have no interest in crew necks, since they conceal any tie, and - really - what's the point of that.
and when I dug into a box of ties and found this classic paisley pattern with all the right colors, I nearly *squeeeee*ed for real.
