      It is difficult to judge this picture since you are "breaking the rules" and doing it well.

      I like the bw tone and the composition. I understand the use of blown out highlights and think it works rather well, even though a part of the head is somewhat painted over.

      The noise works in my opinion.

      Yeah, I really like this. I love coarse grain when it's used right, and it is here. The nice silhouette of light and dark works well, and there's still great detail in the shadows.

      The flaring over the guy is a bit unfortunate . I wish his face was more clearly visible, or at least the silhouette of his head.

      Not a bad shot, it would have been better if the blown highlights would have been down a zone or two to bring out more detail with the man's head

      Original rockclimbing shot, the exposure is not perfect but it doesn't matter, the shot is really cool :-)
