Boulder Still

After a mental week, I didn't manage to wake up for either of the sunrises this weekend, so am working through some of the pictures from last Sunday's trip out to Dunstanburgh.

This shot was taken late in the evening, when the sun had already dipped below the horizon, leaving a pleasant orange afterglow rather than the strong pinks in the clouds of my previous shot from this location. This is the best of several attempts to get the waves bouncing off this mammoth boulder, which is harder than it sounds when balancing on some of the slippiest rocks known to mankind.
