Personally, I think he color is amazing. The eyes are incredible.

Yeah, the color is what's up. :) Maybe if there were more contrasts, the B&W would be better.

    This desolate frigid Irish landscape,
    Isolated and drained of warmth,
    Drizzled by Speared spiked cold,
Ekking nibbling desperate in silence of mind,
Distant islets with hope lingering just hopes.

Settled nowhere in time with feet in sand,
Shifting moving being restless like winds,
Blown from North and then from South,
Listening inner thumps within rib-case bellows,
Distant islets with hope lingering just hopes.

Overwhelming loss of trusts in friends,
    Sending one-way telegrammed messages silently,
Modern way in e-notes done no better,
Sinking deep deeper by desperate loneliness,
Distant islets with hope lingering just hopes.

    Furlonging for deep un-coming sleep,
Grey and dark beliefs of un-busy mind,
Disdain and rejected seated besides and by me,
Exactly why does one say this so and so,
Distant islets with hope lingering just hopes.

Alone in the search for hopes remaining,
    Dwelling drifting dejected justly forgotten,
Well done deeds wasted of past in bygone years,
Cooked and canned for future use that never was,
Distant islets with hope lingering just hopes.

    This desolate frigid Irish landscape,
    Isolated and drained of warmth,
    Drizzled by Speared spiked cold,
Ekking nibbling desperate in silence of mind,
Distant islets with hope lingering just hopes.
