hydroelectric waterfall

This is the power source for a hydroelectric plant at Cargill Falls in Putnam, CT. I don't know if it's running or not. It would be a tremendous shame for it not to be--all that free energy.

 

It's odd how static this looks, even in real life. The water's moving, but it retains the exact same shape as it curves over the falls.
