Backbone Rock

Know locally as "The Shortest Tunnel in the World" at about 20 in lenth. The road passing through the rock is TN Hwy 133 which was once the railroad that ran from Shady Valley, TN about 10 miles south and Damascus, VA only a few minutes north. The railroad company blasted the hole through the rock to lay track so it is not a natural tunnel.
