    Skirt made from this pattern. The fabric is a woven design, which I thought added to the vintage look. This was made to wear to the Gatsby Picnic, a function of the Art Deco Society of San Francisco. Turns out, I really like the pattern and will make more. It's much like an a-line, but with a cool bias kick flounce in the front. Check out the cool seam that swoops down the front side. My only alteration was to take the hips in about six inches (my hip to waist ratio isn't very big).

      Glad you can appreciate a plain brown skirt. Not much flash, but it'll be a workhorse.

      This might be fun in a indigo denim color with bright top stitching. Fabulous skirt. Hope the event was fun.

      Thanks for the link to that pattern company. Never seen it before. This pattern is a good one and I love your version. The shaping keeps it from being plain jane.
