      Very weird.

Ta very much for the Perot link. I was trying to find all of them - there's more I've come across on flickr - to link them up and got tied up in knots...

Superb. The great thing is, these almost certainly cost a lot more to make than the real Oscars.

This is an old photo, but I re-jigged the 'uploaded on' date to make it timely for the Oscars.

It's actually a scan of a photo taken back in the 90s.

You'd need a sturdy mantelpiece if you won one of those.

Last year, while working across the road at the El Capitan Theatre, I took my break outside and mingled with the crowds... what a fiasco of ridiculous screamers trying to catch the attention of the many show-biz want-a-bee's. It's the booooooring same each and every year.
As for the acceptance speeches... the American English speaking population have no education or interesting use of the English language while the foreigners tried so hard to say "thank you" and sound sincere!
