St. Ignatius - Nave & Sanctuary

Saint Ignatius Church, a prominent San Francisco landmark, is located on a hilltop called 'Lone Mountain' and serves as the chapel for the University of San Francisco. It is staffed by priests of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and is dedicated to the Society's founder, Ignatius of Loyola. The architecture of the church is a mix of Italian Renaissance and Baroque elements and its floorplan follows that of ancient Roman basilicas.
