Honey Mushroom family

photos by Dave Schmidt at Hartwick Pines State Park, Grayling Michigan. As with all mushrooms in the forest, be cautious about eating, and make sure you know what type of mushroom it is before you eat it. Due to the vast differences in the honey mushroom family, it's difficult to positively identify from a photo without veil tissues off this unique genus.
