These are great photos of Mexico! I think set of Mexico pictures outdoes any I have ever seen.

Funny, interesting, photographically intoxicating. Can there be too much color? (or gold?)

That is very kind of you. We both love the colors and the people, architecture, food, etc.

This one is also hands-down, a favorite of mine in this entirely incredible set, Larry. I like the way most of your photos here have no superflous background. You zero in on the subject exactly -- and even in this photo, the left side where there is a diagonal change in tone (can't tell if it's a shadow, or the edge of a shape) even that diagonal shape adds to the image -- it gives it a tension echoed by the opposite angle of the cross, and by the skeleton's arm angle.

Blue and orange - firey intense complimentary colors, too.

All together a stark, emotional and beautiful image.

thank you so much Max and Maureen.

I do recrop some pictures before uploading. That shape on the lower left is the base of the grave stone.

We were in Oaxaca at Christmas time and went to this cemetery. The flowers, candles and other decorations were still there from Dia de los Muertos which made it really interesting.

Great photo! Where is the Xoxo cemetary? I was just in Oaxaca City and surrounds in November--can't wait to return.

      Thank you Juan and kdriese

Xoxo is a suburb of Oaxaca city actually named Xoxocotlan I think just about anyone in Oaxaca could give you directions. It would be an easy taxi ride.
