Climate Change Protest

    Newer Older

I made this image to promote the Rally to Protest Canada’s Withdrawal from Kyoto Accord (Sunday, March 11, 2007, noon-2pm at Harry Hayes Building, 220 - 4 Avenue SE).

This graphic was used on the front page of the Activist Network during the week leading up to the rally.

Thanks to Creative Commons licensing, I was able to derive this work from photos by John Vetterli and kimba Howard.

John Vetterli, mikekwaan, smiteme, and 20 other people added this photo to their favorites.

We used it here at our blog (with links to both the photo page and your webpage). Great photo! We post pretty frequently on global warming and we loved this photo. The post concerns support for global warming among US Republicans (including some former "skeptics").

We try to make sure we're in strict compliance with the license and I have followed your attribution requirements. Let me know if we can do more.

I hope you don't mind but I've nicked your picture to advertise an event.

That’s the sort of thing I put it out there for — so I’m glad to see it being used like this. Please add a photo credit somewhere on the page, though (per the Creative Commons license). Thanks!

Hey there, great photo we've used it for a blog post here but have linked you.

We hope this is alright and in line with your CC license, if it isn't please let us know and we'll remove it :)

@Threeboy: That’s totally fine. Thanks for linking the photo back here (my preferred form of attribution) and thank-you for posting the link here (I like to have people let me know how my photos are being used).

Congratulations on receiving more than 5,000 views -- that's quite impressive! Now that you've reached this milestone, you might want to consider graduating this photograph from the 'Views: 4000' group to the 'Views: 5000' group, which can be found here:

Once again, congratulations and hopefully your photos will receive many more views in the future! (Reminder: Photos should only be in one 'Views:xx' group at a time.)
