Notes: The back of this photograph holds the hand-written mention "Champ de Mars à Petrograd ("On the Field of Mars, Petrograd"). It may have been the procession which took place at the beginning of the IInd Congress of the IIIrd Communist International, organized to pay a tribute to the victims of the February Revolution, buried in this area. One recognizes Nikolaï Bukharin (1888-1938) on the left.
