In December 2011, I went out each night and took photos of the Prudential Towers (Boston) as there was a different color lighting the Pru which represents a different non-profit cause.

 

December 1 – Red – Boston Living Center – HIV/AIDS support & awareness

December 2 – Orange – Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis – MS research

December 3 – Purple – Big Sister Association – mentorship program for young girls

December 4 – Red – Comfort Zone Camp – a bereavement camp for children

December 5 – Green – Military Friends Foundation – financial assistance for military families

December 6 – Teal/Green – Pine Street Inn – homeless shelter

December 7 – Red/White/Blue – Shelter Legal Services – free legal advice & representation for homeless & low-income individuals

December 8 – Blue – Children’s Tumor Foundation – neurofibromatosis research

December 9 – Orange – Massachusetts Citizens for Children – child advocacy

December 10 – Purple – Alzheimer’s Association – Alzheimer’s care, research & support

December 11 – Yellow – Amnesty International – human rights advocacy
