I don't have time to read through all the comments so I don't know if I am the only person here who actually has a story of remembering Dianne, but I do...we all used to go into the Victoria Mart...I believe it was an MFC store, of course now gone what with the gentrifying of that whole area. Back in those days it was still a bit rough...anyway Dianne was lovely and she actually used to get invited to parties and launches by the younger crowd just because of her hair...everyone loved it. This is not a patch on what it used to be twenty years ago when it was a far more elaborate bouffant covered in ringlets and curls. It was always pink, mauve or some shade between and never one hair out of place. I had to ask her one day how long it took her to do it, and she said she got up before dawn while her husband was still asleep to create it, every morning before opening the store!
