oh--take the toys and have fun! +3 diopter at about 1 foot and if you are stopping down in the bright sun with 400 asa you can get pretty lucky with these things...

SC--I have owned this old set of Close-up filters for a decade, nothing special at all, Kalt brand. I put a step up ring on my Holga (just screwed into right into the plastic, 46mm-52mm) and put the close-up filter on...on my Diana..a ittle more difficult. A Kodak Series 7 adapter ring stuck over the lens focus ring and all and a Series 7 Porta close up lens, I bought a set of +1-3 and -1-3 glass lens for about $4. I have yet to try the minus ones...at plus 3 the focus distances are...10 in. at 3.5 feet to 13 in. at infinity. Hope this helps.

oh and thanks everyone for the comments.

Thank you for the close up info. Appreciate it. I have some macro filters from my Pentax. Maybe there is something makeshift I can construct with them.
