Pulasan

The Cantonese words for the pulasan translates to "wild lychee". Apparently its quite rare but there seemed to be loads of it around during my holiday. It seems like a cross between a lychee and a rambutan in that it has the same woody seed as a rambutan but the skin and flavour leans towards that of the lychee.
