St Macher's Cathedral

A present for The Church Collector"

The inside is awesome - not very ornate (as you might expect of the Church of Scotland)...and I'm pretty sure that the window at the end was only added in the 1950s - but I could be wrong) but has a great imposing "feel" and atmosphere in it.

There's been a church here since the year 500 and something - as it now stands it''s an example of a "fortified" church dating back to 1300 (and something!)! This says something of the history of Scotland!
