Sachin & Babi

For the past twenty years, Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia have made their mark in the luxury fashion and lifestyle worlds. To this day, the husband and wife team are sought aft-er by the most exclusive couture designer houses as a creative resource for unique embroideries.

In 2004, the high demand for their unique aesthetic led them to launch a luxury home brand, Ankasa. The fashion-forward home collection was an instant hit and their products can be seen in the most exclusive design centers around the world.

Five years later, in 2009, the designers launched their eponymous collection, SACHIN & BABI. It was time to get back to their fashion lineage.

The line stays true to the designers’ luxury roots, yet is accessible to a broader spectrum of women than a typical designer collection. The brand subscribes to the mindset that this is the wave of the future of fashion… to make clothing all women want.

While continuing to design a collection that is truly defined by their clientele- a flagship boutique is a necessary step to showcase the collection in its entirety. The Carnegie Hill neighborhood and community are cultural lodestones of luxury and style. Women with sophisticated taste and appreciation for classic style and exquisite fit are completely at home. With the shifting paradigm in which she dresses she can now obtain luxurious attire at an attainable price point.

“fashion is an evolution and there are no rules. What the industry craves is ever changing and what the fashion customer wants is affected by more than trend. What a woman wears evolves with her lifestyle and the realities of the world in which they live”….Sachin Ahluwalia.
