This pattern is from Elizabeth Hartman's Practical guide to patchwork. I think I used about 30 blocks for the front, plus sashing and rounded edges. This is the smallest binding I've ever put on a quilt, but I think that it gives it a much more modern feel. Also, the rounded edges soften the business and really bring the whole thing together. I went with an mustard shade to draw the eye outward.
I am so very pleased with how this has turned out. I cannot wait to give it to my dear sweet Katie and her wonderful husband Charlie
