    Great find! Not the best place to get incapacitated with this guy hanging around....

    Thanks for your comments - the younger generation now do the "looking after dad" when we're out on the hills together, another case of role reversal!!
    You're right about the knees, too much football (soccer to you guys) in my youth & twenties - I had a minor knee op a couple of years back which has helped. I often use poles on steep downhill bits, but when you're scrambling they get in the way, so I did without on Monday without any ill effects. Anyway we don't have vultures here!

    Gee, that is the cutest photo of a TV I have ever seen. The poor darling looks a little, the worse for wear. Also am in awe at the size of the wings.
