Germany WW2 - Cologne

The Cathedral stands amid the destruction of War. From an original source and printed from the 35mm negative. According to available data 456,000 4lb incendiary bombs were dropped on the city during the raid of 30/31st May 1942 as well as high-explosive bombs by over 900 bombers, of which the overwhelming number (496) were Vickers Wellingtons. This was of course followed by many other such raids before the war ended.
