DR0625/ sibs in the "other Haiti "

Siblings whose parents are escapees from Haiti living now in the Dominican Republic
    to escape poverty.
Theyve left poverty to find it once again.

This is a ghetto in the north of the Dominican Republic called El Jamon.
I have been shooting there 25 years. It no longer exists. Haitians many times
are nomads. They move from one makeshift slum to another.
It was situated about an eighth of a mile away from a multimillion dollar hotel complex
where tourists lay on chaise lounges all day sip on alcoholic drinks rub suntan lotion on their red skin and never see the ISLAND at all except their hotel room
the hotel grounds casinos at night and the inside of their fast air conditioned car that takes them to and from the airport.

These kids never will have seen the inside of the hotel complex.
    If they are still alive.

Unfortunately, that´s the way we are running (or ruined?) this world. The earthquake will probably make all of us to become aware of adults and children living in such hard conditions all over the world.
