Beauty behind Glass
On a trip to the Dählhölzli Tierpark zoo in Bern, Switzerland, I got to shoot a few animals. Most of them, obviously, behind fences and glass.
This particular fish here was so close to the glass that you can see the scratches and dents on the surface of the barrier between visitors and fish despite the shallow depth of field. Quite a neat effect, and much more intriguing to me than those pictures where the containment isn't visible...
I only had the 35mm f/1.8 and the 75mm f/1.8 with me. I did miss my 100-300mm outdoors when the Leopards paced about, but for the inside, those two lenses were perfect.
