Church of God Christian Academy opened their doors to the community following Hurricane Sandy to provide a warm gym for those that did not have a warm place to go, food and water, clothing and other supplies. Now, they have been chosen as one of Global Green's Solar for Sandy sites in partnership with National Grid. Through this project, the school will be equipped with a solar system with battery back up for emergency power, energy efficient LED lighting, spray foam insulation and other energy efficiency upgrades.
