In October 2015, Global Green USA announced an innovative partnership with National Grid that will include a 1 Million dollar investment to create climate resilient disaster preparedness hubs in communities affected by Superstorm Sandy by installing advanced energy technologies. This announcement was made at one of the selected preparedness hubs, the Church of God Christian Academy in Far Rockaway, New York. The Resiliency Resource Fair at Church of God Christian Academy included students, parents and community members to learn about the resiliency upgrades to the Academy and additional resources for Far Rockaway community members.
