Fracture Unboxing
Fracture is a sponsor of the June 5 episode of New Disruptors, my podcast about how artists and creators can connect to audiences with new tools for making, funding, distributing, and building communities. They gave me credit at their store to test out their system, which produces really stunning prints — they're printed on glass directly. I took some unboxing photos, because the way in which they build, package, and ship the prints is also fascinating.

So, yes, they've paid me money (mandatory FTC disclosure!), but I'm slightly in awe of the process and results.

(Their printer prints on any substrate; they've specialized in glass. CNC cutter cuts out the glass. 2D cutter handles the foam core. Humans assemble and check everything for defects before shipping.)
