Perigee Moon - Sigma AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO

Friday night's full moon is the biggest and brightest full moon of the year. It's a "perigee moon," as much as 14% wider and 30% brighter than other full Moons you'll see later in 2010.

At sunset Friday, the moon was on the horizon and appeared really huge (due to the atmosphere acting like a magnifying glass) but of course, I didn't have a camera with me. I took this shot at about 2 AM.
